90 applique (ceramic) SE 69 (2003) REE 79 (tav. XXXIV) Daniele Maras Artisans' Texts Falerii (Cività Castellana) 300-250 evrs · ci The inscription was incised on the back side of a ceramic ornament in the form of a standing woman. The inscription appears to be the name of the artisan responsible for the piece or perhaps the workshop in which it was produced. evrs is probably a name borrowed from Greek, viz., Εὕρυς. What the number ci 'three' refers to in this case is not clear to me.
